What data 1Layout collects, and why.
Draft legal copy. Purchases are not open yet; the final terms will be published before they open.
1. Website
The website has no advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes request information, such as your IP address, to serve the pages.
2. Customer portal
The portal uses the email address associated with a purchase. Sign-in links work once and expire after 15 minutes. A secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 24 hours; it is used only for sign-in, not for advertising.
3. Payments and licensing
The merchant of record handles checkout and the billing and tax data it requires. We keep your purchase email, order references and license information, including the Macs registered to it and the end of your update period, to deliver and manage your license.
4. Update checks
The app checks for updates at dl.1layout.app once a day and downloads updates from the same host. These requests reach our hosting provider with your IP address.
5. Service providers
We use providers for hosting, licensing, payment and email. They process your data only to provide these services.
